The family of Chi Omega...Mississippi State Style

Although we are a divided family, that is greek speaking..

Lauren, Lucy, and I are members of Kappa Delta..

My youngest joined the ranks of the Brookshire side and became a Hootie Hoot !

That would be Chi Omega..

Jeane Carroll followed her grandmother Brookshire, Aunt Carolyn, Aunt Jane and cousin Elizabeth and Mary Brook ..and became a Chi Omega..

We are very happy about this because we believe each girl should choose what is best for them at whatever college they attend.

We are an open family although divided by Greek denominations..We can add a Tri Delta, a member of a social club at Ms. State for Women, a Delta Gamma that will soon enter the family..We accept all denominations !!!

But, yesterday a sweet cousin ,Martha Ann..the youngest Brookshire cousin became a pledge of Chi Omega..just like her Mom, sister, grandmother, two cousins..and an aunt..All attended Mississippi State but grandmother who went to Alabama and Liz who was at Vanderbilt...

Jeane Carroll and Martha Ann are the youngest of the Brookshire clan and have always been more than just cousins..they are good friends..We have a tradition of taking a picture of just the two of them at the beach every year..We have many, as they were the source of great entertainment to us at the beach for many years.

We are excited for Martha Ann..Jeane Carroll can take her under her wing and they can have some sister sharing as they start this year at Mississippi State..

Just to say, Mrs. Brookshire, their grandmother has been to all the initiations of her daughters and granddaughters..One more..Mrs. Brookshire..you can make this last one to become a Chi Omega..

Just a note, I never thought I would be so proud to be a divided family..that is Greek style..

Loving you...

Robin

GREAT PHOTOS!! I am so proud of your new found technical abilities.
Your family is rich in the Greek heritage. I am so glad that southern belles are still around. They make the south extra special.

Visiting today... Nice pictures, and I read your post below this one, and I can totally relate. We do live in a world where we can so easily get distracted or sucked in by all that it has to offer (or at least what this life says it can offer, but rarely delivers), but in the end it really is all about Jesus, and what will last. Thanks for the post. It is a good reminder.

I started the Psalms study on my own, but got busy... I need to pick it up again :)
