I am so sorry but I am having a little Writers block ..
I hope it is only temporary..
cause I fear I am becoming narcissistic...
talking only of my shopping and worldly things..such as parties...
I hope you know there is really more to me than these happening in life..
True, I enjoy planning and attending..
I do find life does not even begin to happen without our Lord, Jesus Christ as the center of what we are doing..
I have begun a new Bible Study on the Psalms by Beth Moore..
It is really inviting and fresh and full of good stuff..
As only Beth Moore can be, she has be given a gift..
God has anointed this woman to tell it, folks..
My prayer is that God will make me full and feel the need to rid myself of pettiness and focus on what really matters in life..
And that is, to make him the center of my world ..
My desire is to know him more, a hunger for his word..a thirst to know more about him..
Mainly to be more like him..
Ok..It could take a miracle but you know he is in the miracle business..

PLEASE keep posting about the parties. I love hearing all those details of weddings, food and pretty things, usually centered around family and dear friends. Don't forget....Jesus enjoyed parties. What is it in us that enjoys a good celebration? Maybe we are practicing for THE CELEBRATION that will come when Jesus returns....
Hey, I need one of those "being like him" miracles too. Woo... toddlers will bring out the worst in you somedays.
I do not think you're worldly or anything other that a woman enjoying ALL life has to offer. This life is a gift from God and we should enjoy ALL the benefits. That being said...we could ALL use more "being like Him!" Enjoy your study.
