Update on Atchinson Family

My girls are emotionally exhausted and tired from their trip to Butler. I would say they have experienced life at its worst as of today. They told me they pray to never have to do this again in their lifetime.

They said Alanna's funeral was very sweet . Her dad and his best friend spoke along with several people from their church in Chicago which is where Alanna spent her short life.

They did find out the morning of the funeral that Alanna's cause of death was viral meningitis. I asked the girls how Hope and Billy were and they said as well as you could be in this situation.

Friends, please pray for peace and understanding for this family. I covet your precious prayers and thank all of you have taken the time to pray and love this family.

Loving all of you...It seems this puts all of lifs things in perspective at a time like this. Not a whole lot matters except making sure we are all ready to appear before his throne and meet our maker with words that we all would long to hear from him. Well done, my Good and faithful servant.

It's so hard to watch our children experience life's trials. But so rewarding to watch them lean on God and learn of his faithfulness. I've missed you. Do you know you are getting a prize for sponsoring us?

Robin, This family has been in my thoughts and prayers. And will continue to be in them. I'm so thankful they know Christ and can find hope and peace in Him.

I have thought about this family and have prayed for them. It seems that things like this will really 'grow our children up." So sad. Hope they all find the peace they need at this time.

Robin, Thanks so much for the updates. I just can't imagine. Thankfully we serve a Loving Father whom we can trust.
