Hotel Life

It is so weird to be in a hotel..

I am sitting in the lobby looking at strangers eat their breakfast.

It's as if they might not ever eat a meal again.

Do you suppose they consider this free food?

You really are paying for it, but it is so weird what people do.

there are like nine million little ball players at our hotel.

I remember being part of this but now that my children are gone, I notice..

how loud they are

they laugh about everything

they are eating everything

their parents look really tired

and they all look so dirty , like they have not bathed since after the last game.

the parents can't give up talking about the loss, but the kids are oblivious..

People are some strange creatures...

Loving you all from Bham..I am resorting to catching a cab to The Summit because my hubs has the car.

nothing can stop me from the sale going on a TALBOTS WOMAN today.

Yes, my check has come and I am off to the mall, cab fare and all, it promises to be a good day despite the outcome of the little leagers game that the men are still talking about in the lobby...

I love the post! Oh, please shop and enjoy every little minute of it!!! I love shopping in Birmingham. I am already getting excited about what I might find for Christmas gifts. Head over to Homewood. The have some fabulous shops, might find some goodies for the girls and grandbabies. There is also a Strausberg outlet at the Outlet Mall. FYI, Thanks for praying for my mom. She is doing well. They will try to get her up today. Continue to pray, it's a long recovery! Love you! I am so glad to get to talk with you! Even if it is on a computer! :)

Taking a cab in the Ham is quite scary. Would love to know how that went!
