Friday was a fun day. I went to have coffee with a friend, ran a few errands and came home and started wrapping Christmas gifts. I got a lot wrapped but I still have many to go. It seems I have big gifts this year. Not monetary, just big in size. Now, won't that be fun to travel with?
Friday was another night at The DCC, where we ran into some special friends and spent the evening. It was great. Full of lively conversation and we all enjoyed a good meal. Dee and I were both tired and turned in fairly early.
Saturday, I got up and started wrapping gifts again! I put on my timer for thirty minutes and before I knew it , it was eleven o'clock! I am still not through ,but I will keep on wrapping. I was helping with a bridal shower so I spent the afternoon visiting with some special ladies from First Baptist Church . These older women( mature) were dressed to the nines! They all had purses that matched their outfits and all had dresses on. Who would dare wear pants? You guessed it! It was all the women my age. We all had on black pants! It was like a uniform.I am real glad we don't feel like we have to dress up for these things. It amazes me how casual we all are. I bet the mature women talk about the way we dress.It is just the difference in generations, I suppose! What do you think about it?
Dona's blog talked a little about gifts. I am giving a lot of different things this year. I can't tell, cause ya'll might be getting some of it! I know my brother,sister, and some of my friends read , but it will have to remain a secret.
