A Night of Friendship and sharing old times

Last night The Morriss girls, The Lee girls, and the Brookshire girls got together for a night out! We had the best time together. We laughed and cried and talked of memories of Becky and her family and the fun times we have all shared. We all feel like some things we are doing are just motions but we want to remember the good things we did together as families. We went first to La Bamba's where we feasted on Mexican food and from there we went to coffee at The Lee's house.

There we had many conversations going on at once( something that always happens when I am in a room because I bounce from one random thought to another)We were just together and we made an effort to have fun and laugh and cry and we loved on one another to help to ease the pain we were feeling.

Mary shared with us how much it meant for Edwin to have been a part of caring for Becky. It was touching to hear how he was able to minister to Ken and the girls during this time at the end of Becky's days.

We just all needed to be together and I hope for many more nights like this one. Don't think the guys got left out. They went also but we made them sit at a different table because we girls were serious about catching up with each other.

Friendship..It is one of God's gifts that is so incredible. What would we do without it? How could we make it without one another? The best part is that these people love me for who I am..Crazy quirks and all. They overlook my faults and embrace my good qualities and give me love when I least deserve it. They stand by me when I am down and laugh and love me when things are good. That is the true meaning of friends. Loving one another when we are the least lovable.

I hope you have this love in your life , if not , you are missing out on some of God's most precious gift of love that he gave us.

Loving you and hoping for new memories with Friends today and always.. Robin

Mrs. Robin
I just wanted to tell you that I love and appreciate you so, so much! What you and Mrs. Pat did at the reception was nothing short of breath-taking. Your love and thoughtfulness shone through in every detail. I can just imagine Mom's big smile of amazement, if she could have seen it. I enjoyed reading about your family, the Lees and the Morris family laughing about memories of Mom. It feels good to know that's happening...

Love you, and truly enjoyed catching up on your blog!
