The Final Thanksgiving Post!

Saturday was great! We went to Rosemary Beach to Breakfast with Santa where we saw my friend Janet, her daughter Tam and granddaughters. It was very well organized. Mary Fuller looked up at Santa and gave him her list like a champ. She was a little scared at first.

We shopped around at an open air market and that was neat and different. We went from there to Seaside where we did more shopping and walked around and then we gathered for the much anticipated Christmas Parade.

They threw candy and beads and it was really great to see Janet's other daughter Michele and her family.

It was the around 5 about now and we went to pick up shrimp at Goatfeathers and headed back to the condo. Lucy and Jeane Carroll fixed us up with divine appetizers and we were getting settled in for the Auburn - Alabama Game. It was disappointing for Jeff but as he says," the sun will rise in the morning and all will be OK"!

I did have a small mishap that was pretty funny Saturday night around 3 am. I got up to go to the bathroom and tripped over a floor lamp I was using to needlepoint by my bed. I landed outside my bedroom on the deck! The door was open so I could hear the ocean , so when I fell right out the open door with the moon shining in my face! Of course No one even heard me ! We are really thinking Dee might need a hearing aide.He sleeps through everything that is funny..Anyho, I am not permanently scarred and no broken bones, just one of my falls.I might need to check this falling thing in 2008!

Loving you all and hope yours was as full of love as ours. We are by no means the perfect family and we do have our spats, but we try to get over them pretty quick and we still love each other because we are FAMILY and because we have learned to forgive from our heavenly father who is always with us. I am so blessed to say we are all Christians and it makes a difference in our daily walk because we can be forgiven. We are wretched sinners who need this every hour of the day. I thank him for my many blessings and for knowing just what I need and when and how I need it!

Happy Day!

My girls and I loved sharing some of the Thanksgiving week with you & your family. You have got the holidays worked out GREAT! I am so glad FIRE was good, chicken fingers and all HA! I will keep recommending it. I am so glad the condo was good except for the TV. The owners need to be notified and get updated so I can recommend it again.
Love JMM

Robin, sounds like you had a great time at the beach. I hope to do that one year. I didn't know they had a Christmas Parade! How FUN!Our Thanksgiving was very good. Mom was in a good frame of mind and everyone got along. Only problem was the amount of food that I ate for FOUR DAYS. Hope I see you soon!
