Yesterday I spent the day doing laundry and just plain being lazy! Some days you just need to do nothing,which leads to lots of guilt and then you get to add your today list to your tomorrow list! You get it, you pay the price,even though you are refreshed and feeling good TODAY!
I got an e mail the other day that really moved me. It was a prayer and it had some simple but profound things to say to me. I will recap a few..
. Do you truly believe that God can change people?
. Do you know that there is no circumstance or situation greater than God?
. Have you been judged by people for a circumstance in your life that they do not
understand or agree with?
. Do you believe that every battle is in his hands to fight?
. Do you start your day with plenty of gratitude and a new attitude?
. Do you whine and whimper over things you have no control over?
. When you sin, do you repent,confess with your mouth of your wrongdoing and then repent,
and confess with your mouth of wrongdoing and then receive forgiveness?
. When the world closes in on you, do you find a quiet place to pray?
. When you can't pray, do you know God listens to your heart?
. Are you a blessing to others?
. Do you pray for those who don't know you intimately?
. Do you pray for those who are misjudged or misunderstood?
. If you are a believer, do you thank him for this?
Father,
I am thankful for this very day . I am thankful to be able to see and hear. I am blessed because you are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You do so much for me and you keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have said or done or thought that was not pleasing to you.Every battle is in your hands to fight and I pray that these words will be received into the hearts of every eye that see them and every mouth that confesses them willingly..Amen
