I leave from Gulfport with my brother and cousin who are the most excellent traveling companions to the funeral of my uncle tomorrow morning. It will be a quick trip but one to say goodbye to my uncle and hello to lots of relatives. I know my mom will be watching over us and happy Robert and I are representing our little slice of the family. You just do these things..No matter the cost, time, ect. You have to go and be there for your fam.
In the process, I will get to see two of my girls and those precious babies. I will have a great time today loving on them and catching up on some long needed family time. It has been five weeks since I have kissed those precious little grandchildren and my heart is longing to get my hands on them.
I have left Jeane Carroll and Dee ready to entertain JC's seven guests for the evening. They are dining royally and will get to sample some fine Alabama hospitality.JC is making the cupcakes for her friend Lee's birthday and all will be done. Cruising time is soon and they will leave at 5 in the morning for their destination of The Bahamas. Two parents and 14 young people. I pray all will go smooth. These are some fine young people ,so I put my trust in the Lord and know they will have a safe and fun time together. Sun and sand in the Bahamas and Snow in IN. What a difference in weather..
Loving you all from the friendly skies of Southwest...
Robin

This has nothing to do with your blog, but can I just say that Brooks is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I can't believe how big he is, but those eyes will just melt you. Precious boy.
Will Jeanie and friends so to Atlantis? FAB!
Praying for a safe trip for all!
I just know there will be some amusing quotes and antics at this funeral. I want to hear all about it. Also, A. said you are a good "hugger". Thanks for being so kind to her Sat. night.

Hi Robin,
Good thing you have that big bear coat...bet you'll be really glad when you get further north! Do you ever wear cuddle duds? I get soooo cold, that I wear them under my clothes, and it really helps keep me warm. Enjoy seeing family...even if it is for a funeral. Safe travels!
