I am leaving on Sunday, yes I said this Sunday, to go to Colorado to a Snowbunnies reunion with five friends from high school in my hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Two of the girls, I know we are women now , I have seen on a regular basis but the others I have not seen in years. Eve was a sorority sister and Susie and Betty are just sweet friends from my past. I can't wait to see them ,but what about me? You know, it's always about me!
I need a face lift, gastric bypass, stomach staples might work due to the time restraint, what about that band thing they do? I need help and sister, I need it FAST!!!!!
Oh well, I guess they will think it is Halloween and I will just go as ME..Fat body, saggy eye lids, dropping you know whats, and all the other internal disorders that come with being a middle age woman..
Guess what! They might be fat also, and you know what, I bet they haven't had any surgery since Christmas..The good news is I am going as just what I am and they will just have to adjust their glasses if they don't like it! Just kidding...These are some precious friends and I can hardly wait to get my pudgy arms around them and fill them in on my life and hear about what God has done for them since we were walking the halls of Hattiesburg High School whispering about boys and who we were mad at and , you know..the stuff that doesn't really matter anymore cause, high school is just so lame and oh so long ago..
Anywho, if you know of a surgery that is real quick and can promise a miracle in no time flat,, I need to know real fast where and who can do it for me ! I bet they don't have two grandchildren as cute as mine. I better go so I can find some real cute pictures of all of us at the beach and I can tell them about Mary Fuller 's red hair and Brooks beautiful eyes and you know..I could go on and on and on..About the surgery? Send me a name and phone number of the office ..
Loving you and pray that God will teach me to be myself and exude his love and goodness in all that I do. Robin

Ok, you are hilarious. I have just the thing you need... a newborn! See if you can find one and start to lactate by Sunday and your guaranteed some dramatic results! :) I hope you have so much fun on your trip! Take lots of pictures. I can't wait to hear about it. I have some very precious high school girlfriends and I hope once we're all done having babies (or nursing them which takes longer than just having them) we can all vacation together!!
Don't go changing on me( great country song)I love you the way you are.
Have a snowy fun trip to the mts.
I have ordered your CM supplies just in time to scrap your trip when you get back.

Dear Robin,
I just got in from a Pharmaceutical meeting and read your blog. The good news about the meeting, is there were actually 2 other women my age (a rare event)the bad news..lots of young, skinny, stylish, chic girls. I wouldn't trade any of them for you!! You've forgotten more about style than they will ever know! Your high school friends are so lucky to have you. have fun!!!
Mrs. Robin,
You crack me up! My mom was over here tonight & we think you are too funny! Have fun in Colorado!
Love,
Brittany & Connie
