You are my most independent child. I think you could have lived without me since you were in the seventh grade. You always did things for yourself. You tried to come in this world feet first, but the doctor spared me and did a C- section. We gave you the name Jeane Carroll after your fiesty grandmother Jeane and your great Brookshire grandfather Carroll. It is ironic that people call you Jeane at college. It reminds me of your grandmother. You are like her in some ways. She was independent also and had many talents ,just as you.You will discover more about these as you grow into a mature young woman.
You are a loyal friend and like your dad,you have many of them. I think you would live in Mississippi all year if we would let you. You are a great influence on many young people in our town. The little girls all looked up to you and wanted to be like Jeane Carroll. You have had many women help you to grow in your young life. Lots of good moms who let you babysit their children. You are so at ease with them, yet discipline with love.
Most of all, you are a Christian who is trying to find her way in this world that is full of bad. You always see the good. You try hard to do the right things and we are so very proud of you. Happy 2oth Birthday my little Jeannie, our little tutterbug..We Love You and can't wait until you are home for a while. You make life fun.. Loving you always..MaMa
