What a great weekend! The girls got here Friday afternoon in mass. They paraded in and it looked like something out of a Vera Bradley catalogue! Each one had a different pattern and different pieces for the weekend look. Whitney had pajama pants that matched. Most girls now have two patterns as a result of so many graduation gifts! I still don't have a pattern yet and my daughter has two!
The laughing and giggling started and the eating also. They came with great appetites and that pleased me to no end. We mama's just love for our girls to like our cooking. Jeane Carroll was amazed with the spread I had for her and the girl friends. Each found a room. All the girls ended up in beds .Dee cooked up some fine vittles for dinner and off to Target they went to do a little shopping. They were so excited about Target, there is little of no shopping in Starkville! They had the owl cupcakes for late night snacks( thanks to Darby's sister for this) The Little hoots loved em some owl cupcakes..
Saturday they woke up around 10 and we had breakfast and some of them pulled out the books and studied a little. Boy, now this impressed me quiet a bit.Studying on a weekend! Mind you, Jeane Carroll was not one that was flipping the index cards around. They rested and visited and had some taco soup for lunch and off they went shopping again. Posh, Mint Julep, Freckled Frog were a few of the places they went.
When they got home the guys got here and they had some fun visiting and looking at Jeane Carroll's scrapbooks . You know this had me going because I love for people to look at my scrapbooks! They got off to the fair around seven and I think they had a great time going to the Peanut Festival. We have built it up so, who knows what they thought..They got in late but they were stiring and coming to life when when Dee and I left for Sunday school. Now, I am not bragging ,but they ALL came to church and were there on time. That is really big in my eyes. We went to the DCC for lunch and were seated in The VIP room. This was a treat to all! They all ate another great meal and talked of college football, what fun they have at School and what fun they are going to have if they beat ALABAMA next weekend.
We got home from lunch and they packed up and headed off in three different cars back to their life at Mississippi State. Thanks for coming to Dothan and visiting. We loved having each of you. We know it's because of all of you that Jeane Carroll is loving up her college days. These are the best days..They just don't know that yet!
In the midst of all the leaving, we got a call saying Lauren and Lucy's fathers mom (in Hattiesburg,MS.)passed away this morning. They are really sad and the next few days will be rough for them. I am headed to Daphne to help with Mary Fuller and Brooks and bring them to Hattiesburg on Wednesday for the funeral. Please keep us all in your prayers..The Wages go back to Birmingham on Tuesday and Becky is not feeling good at all and Abby's new baby is in the hospital with a uninary tract infection.Loving all of you ..A Tired Robin

Thank you for giving me wonderful things to think about in their teens and twenties! Be careful traveling, we will be praying for you all! See you soon-
