This is just what the title says..My Random Thoughts!!!





Today we are headed to Starkville to Mississippi States Homecoming. I do not even know who they are playing, as if it really mattered to me. The main reason is we are going to see our daughter Jeane Carroll. She is a sophomore at State. We are going to the little hooty hoots Homecoming Brunch. I can't wait to meet her new little sister. JCB has lavished this girl with gifts bearing the owl and other Chi Omega meanings that I know nothing about. Ask me about Kappa Delta and I can tell you anything . I am very happy JC is a Chi Omega.It fits her and we all want to do our own thing. It has been fabulous for her. She has met the most wonderful girls that will be her lifetime friends.





We are going to State with our special friends and neighbors Pat and Russell. Their son Ross is a freshman at State. Ross is having a birthday on Sunday. I can't wait to see him. I am missing him so much. I will have lots to report from our trip because Pat and I will make the most of our time together and do lots of therapeutic laughing.Dee and Russell will sit in the front seat and talk about work and church. We will try and listen a little and then wonder what and why they are talking about ? Men and Women ? Will we ever understand the difference between us? It is going to be one of my first questions when I get to heaven.Pat and I will be needlepointing in the back seat. We are trying to get reservations at an exclusive golf resort tonight in West Point, MS. Fine Dining...My favorite thing to do.I will report on this later.





I just watched the wedding on the today show, As if we do not have enough to attend in person! I was a little disappointed in Martha's Decor, but I have had this aversion to fall since Lucy married. I won't go into it ,but Fall brings some scary thoughts to my mind when it comes to decorating. We had a vision for Lucy's wedding that turned out to be something that looked like the County Fair..not a wedding.Another long blog..Live and Learn..Love and Live..Oh well..They are married and maybe people don't remember the decorations...





I think Lucy and Jason might be making the big move this weekend. I know they will be so glad to be settled and in one place. They have done a great job remodeling their home all by themselves. Jason..what a handy man...Lucy..the decorating is fab.It will all pull together. We can't wait to be invited over and sit at your Bo's dining room table and eat a gourmet meal in your new pad.





Well, so much for my thoughts..To Darby..I did not start creative memories until my girls were all grown. So don't feel bad. You will have plenty of time when those little girls are gone to college.To Anne.. I may seem busy, but you know girl I can relax with the best of them. Remember the white sheet and the naps I used to take and am still taking?I am saving my pennies for our snowbunny reunion in January. Also, I am so excited about this new little boy in your life.I will get a daygown and start smocking somehting cute that we can take our boys to the mall in Malbis and stroll like the old days..Only we were surrounded by Girls and Girly things. Love to all..Pray for safe travel..Pray for Copelands parents,also for Becky, she was able to have another treatment this week. I love you all...Robin
