Family Fun

This is my first experience with the blog! Lauren has started one and it seems like such a great way to record your thoughts so, here I go...Lauren and her two children came home today for a friends daughters wedding. Jeane Carroll arrived last night. It is such fun when they all come home. We are missing Lucy who is on a two week business trip (some fun) with her husband Jason.Mary Fuller came running in to see her DeeDee and find out what I had for a surprise! I had bought her a silky nightgown from China Town in New York. She could hardly wait to get it on and we now think it might be a great Haloween costume. A black wig and some chopsticks in her hair and she is good to go. Brooks is growing so fast. Boys are just differsnt. It took Mary Fuller forever to get to a three month size and Brooks is already in a six month .He is smiling and loves to eat!!!Just like his grandmother....Jeane Carroll has been busy working on Chi Omega gifts for her new little sister. She has shown us a new crafty side we did not know exsisted. She is really good with the painting..I was impressed with her talent but dare not ask how much she is spending on little Chi Omega stuff.

We went to dinner at the Country Club and met the Morris family. It was fun to talk about the fun times we have shared together. We lauged at some of lifes funny moments we have had and talked of the times we sustained one another in the loss of our parents.We have been friends since we moved here in 1986. Lots of children, phone talks, dinners together,doctor visits and
trips have been some of the memories we share. Our girls are like sisters ..Lauren and Lucy looked after Amy and Katherine, Katherine and Amy looked after Jeane Carroll and now Jeane Carroll is looking after Sarah.What a blessing they have been to all of us.
