FACEBOOK

Do I or Don't I ?

It's all the rage..

I have so many addictions, do I try it or do I leave it alone ?

I love needlpointing, organizing, smocking, shopping, blogging, reading blogs, relationships with my family and friends..I could go on and on..

If I do it, I will become obsessed with how many friends I have..

I am an all or nothing girl..

I know I would get up in the middle of the night to see who has written on my page...

I don't want all the people I graduated with to see how fat I am..

I don't do reunions for this reason..

My girls are saying..Please don't do it mom..

But..I love being in the know and the cutting edge of everything..

So..Do I or don't I ?

DO IT!!!!! I thought blogging was great for meeting old friends - FACEBOOK blew me away! Found friends I hadn't seen since 5th grade! As for those friends and family close to me - it's a good way to keep up with the "little" things of day to day life with status updates! DO IT!!!!

I think you should! When I was home last week, we created a facebook page for mom! She won't admit it, but she loves it!

My boys have said "absolutely not"! They will gladly show me their pages but said no way to me. I have lots of friends who have made the move, and I know they love, love , love it! But so far, I am resisting the temptation. Nothing in the world WRONG with having a facebook- but as for me- no. The clincher was when my " middle's" girlfriend said "no".
I miss you and heard about the fun scrapbooking weekend! I would love to have your email. Please send it to me at kathycgannon@gmail.com . I love reading your blog!

I finally did it, but it is not nearly as much fun to me as blogging. It is confusing to me, too. That probably means that I have no business being a part of it. So, I check it occasionally and add friends, but, I'd much rather blog. And that is my 2 cents worth!

Do it. You can always remove yourself, but it is so fun to catch up with everyone!!!
