I am about to go on a 24 hour road trip with one of my home girls..this is a friend who knows me well, too well..
She has weathered some storms with me ,,you know , those big things in life.College, Kappa Delta,Boy Friends, High school, Marriage.children, divorce,growing up three girls,new marriage,moves..you name it , we have been through it..
We will lack little to talk about..no subject is off limits..
cause we have been through it all..
we are headed to COLORADO..
to marry off her daughter number 1..
We will laugh, cry, laugh some more and drop large sums of cash on food, clothes, and who knows what else might we might encounter along the way..
I will smock, drive, needlepoint, have Christian analysis on almost everyone we know and love..
Anne will laugh, drive, listen to me rant on and on and laugh some more cause..
she knows I am crazy and so is she..
we will really crack up when someone asks, are you sisters ?..cause we really don't look alike, we are just the same lovable size...and I guess that makes people think we are sisters...
Please pray for safe travel and for us to stay out of trouble ..cause even though we are in our fifties, we still have it in us ..We might need some DEPENDS this time cause now ..when we laugh we wet our pants cause ..WE ARE FIFTY and have given birth to many children and it takes a toll on the old body !!!
I can't wait..How could someone be so excited about being in a car for 24 hours ?
Life is good and so is God..He invented a sense of humor in us all..Thanks God for friends, laughter, and DEPENDS !

Safe travel, sister! Its was lots of fun last night-I know you two will have lots of laughter!
Have a great trip!!!! Lots of laughs. As my great Aunt Dorothy used to say, "If you can't be good, be careful." She was truly classy and the portrait of a lady. To hear her send you off with that always made me giggle....
Oh this sounds like so much fun! I'm wishing I was going to be a fly in that car with y'all. Have fun and enjoy every minute. There is nothing better than good friends is there?
Just stay in control while you two are driving and enjoy "letting it RIP" when you get to the mts.So glad we got in a breakfast before your month of traveling.I can't say much, I was gone 20 days going 9 different places last month and out of town now!

There's just not much that is more fun than traveling with somene who really 'gets you'. Have loads of fun!
