Colorado

Oh dear friends..


We are having an amazing time on our trip to Colorado..

The wedding was today at 11.00. It was beautiful and the flower girl did a spectacular job of dropping Aspen leaves down the short aisle of the old First Baptist Church...

We stayed at the reception singing and dancing until at least four this afternoon..


I can't wait to share details and pictures with you..

We dined at a Real Italian Restaurant tonight in downtown Lake City. with twenty friends who were at the wedding. It was great fun..

Now, the best is for last..my husband , who loves a jeep has had his dreams come true and is renting one to go to the top of The Alpine Loop.We leave at 7:30 after meeting more friends for breakfast at The local gas station.

It is going to be a fun day filled with friends and family, good scenery,leaves changing and lots of sightings of deers and we hope to see a Bear, yes my friends..they are around here in abundance.

It has been a blessing to be with two of our three girls, we desperately are missing
Jeane Carroll..

Mary Fuller has been delightful and so good.

Our cabin at Vickers Lodge is real primitive.

No tv, no microwave, no clock..just two rooms, one fireplace, a bath room, and a GAS stove..

You know how I love a gas stove..It is real full of dirt and not much hot water but the milkman is LOVING the outdoors and feeling all manly and he has this jeep tomorrow and he is so excited , he might not be able to sleep good tonight...

The mountains are just a reminder to us of Gods greatness. They are so tall and beautiful to look at.How could anyone not believe there is a God who designed all this for our pleasure ? The colors of the leaves are amazing.
I can't wait to share with you all the beautiful things we have seen.
