He took on me, Lauren, and Lucy around twenty three years ago and instantly became a father to my girls.
He has NEVER ever been their stepdad because he is just not into the step thing.
When he took us on, he meant he was going to be a real dad and that is just what he is..No step to it..
He has given them a real role model of what a father is..Kind, a great listener, always there for them, no matter what, the money man for all their needs and wants, and just daddy..the one they fall to when things are just not what they seem to be,,
Even as adults, they seek his opinion and guidance before they venture into the unknown..
Along came his only birth daughter, who quickly became Lauren and Lucy's sister, no step there either,You would never know that their was a difference between his birth child and his other daughters because he is just that kind of father..one who gives totally to his daughters...
So, Happy Father's Day to a great dad, husband, and role model..I love you for loving them..Words can never say how much you have influenced ther lives and the young women they are becoming..Because of you, they know true and unconditional love like our heavenly father who is always there for us..
