Menopause and Global warming don't mix

<

Ok, folks..those of you are in my age bracket know the M women do not sleep well, on most nights..

I did not sleep well when I was in my early 3o's..

But perhaps, it is becase I like to take a power nap at least once during my long day..Yes, I take naps..I am not ashamed..It makes me a nicer person, and I know you all want that to happen..

I awaken today at around 4:30, get my coffe to go and head to Walmart..I step out my back door and this fog of humidity hits me like a ton of bricks..It is so humid you can barely catch your breath..

People, what are we going to do? It is not even mid June and the heat wave is already here..

Todays high is going to 98..YES , I said 98 and it is going to be a killer..

What's a girl to do ? Stay indoors and clean ? Get out and shop and sweat to death.? Wear mens deoderant? It is pure torture..

My plan for the day is to be inside or at the pool of a friend..Sounds like a good game plan to me..

I don't do HEAT very well ..but I have become a danger to those I am around in the dire heat..I am not really nice to anyone..I know it's not lady like to talk about sweat, but girls..the dew factor is up there..so make a plan..In or Out ? What 's it gonna be ?

Loving you from humidity city..

Robin

I have pretty much been saying the same thing for two weeks now; What are we going to do, it's not even July?! If I am outside for longer than about 5 minutes I have sweat pouring down me and I do not like that! I am a very hot natured person anyway.

Okay, what are you going to wear on June 21st for an outside wedding reception! Only the old people are allowed inside where it is cool. Do you choose to be old that night?

I feel your pain! This is unbearable! I can not believe it is so bad so early. I went to walk through our house under construction yesterday, and I could not even go all the way through, it was so hot, with no air moving at all. Next time I am going to have to take a battery operated fan to see it. I don't think I have ever been this hot...of course, I realize it not ALL the weather's fault. I also have that M thing to contend with.
I just want to sit inside and not move.

I take naps too. Do not be ashamed. Embrace the nap.

My Oppresive Heat Plan: OUT early (maybe not 4:30 a.m, but early) IN by noon. Have people over and stay inside. I have napped lately and it is a good thing.

Oh dear. I'm posting about menopause tomorrow. I'm not flashing regularly, but I have done it once or twice. Very weird sensation.
