Alone Time

I don't know bout you ,but I tend to require some alone time every now and then.

I really don't think it is weird, I just know it makes me a better person and I enjoy being able to think all by myself.

I think I might have learned this from and husband and his side of the family.

Dee likes his own company every now and again and I guess it has rubbed off on me.

I like to not have a schedule.

I like to have time to do things at my own pace.

I can think better( I know this might be a little dangerous ).

I might be making up for lost time after raising three daughters.Life can be a little crazy with girls around.

I love having a dialogue with The Lord all day long and listening for his soft whispers and answers to questions I am having in this vast head of mine.

I like to listen to the birds and just looking out my window at what ever surroundings I may be at in the moment.

I just like the quiet..The joy of reading Gods word uninterrupted. I know, I am bad about not answering my phone on these alone days.

I guess it takes some alone time to really know yourself.

I haven't always enjoyed my own company, but as the years go by, I like it more and more.

Hope your day is filled with quiets or noise, whatever it is that you enjoy..It takes all kinds to make up this crazy world of ours.

Loving you all..

A special shout out to Anita and Lila, two of my bloggie readers. Hope you are having great days...

Very nice post, Robin, and I agree with you. So many times we don't hear the things we need to because we never take the time to listen. And listenings requires quiet. I, too, am very content with just myself for company.

PS.
There is a great blog you may enjoy reading from a woman who is very artistic and lives alone in the NC woods. Her insight is beautiful. It is called Ornamental, check it out on my sidebar list.

Ms. Robin, I tried to call you yesterday by guessing your old home number. Turns out, I remembered it but it just said "Dee Brookshire" so i wasnt sure if that was his cell phone. Anyway, long story short- I am SOOOOO excited about the shower at your house. You are so sweet! I love you and can't wait.
