God's Blessings

We had a great Doctor Visit yesterday in Birmingham with Dr. Zeiger. He felt Dee was right where he should be with the healing and regaining the strength in his leg. It is going to take some time and more therapy. He thought his MRI looked really good. We are blessed with the care he has had and his therapist, Anthony, at The Medical Center.

He was wiped out when we got home around 5:30. He went straight to bed and did not take his clothes off until around 12:00 tonight. Now, Dee and I both have some strange sleep habits, hence this writing at this crazy hour. He is up now ,having dinner and a little TV.

The day was great and we even had a little time for shopping(that is I did) at Talbot's this afternoon and a great lunch at Cheesecake factory at The Summit. It was short but I managed to do a little damage . I begged to go to that one store on the way home. This was my celebration for being such a good nurse these last SIX weeks of togetherness.

Thanks to all for your prayers, cards, phone calls , and visits. You have helped us to get through yet another trial in our life. We are praising The Lord for his faithfulness and love...

Jeane Carroll is headed home tomorrow for her Spring Break. She is bringing seven friends in on Sunday before they leave Monday for their CRUISE .I will be off to a funeral in Indiania on Monday and Tuesday. My mom's sister has lost her husband of 50 plus years. My brother, cousin, and I are flying there for the funeral.

Loving all of you for your love and visits to the Blog...

Robin- my mom just brought me the beautiful dress you made for my Caroline. I truly appreciate all the time and effort that was put into making it. I can't wait for her to wear it. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

I was pretty sure you'd find some time to shop somewhere in there. :) Glad you did. And Glad Dee is getting good news!

So glad the report was good, and I trust he will continue to do well.
Glad you squeezed in some time for the 'important' stuff. It's a good thing there is not a CF here...however, Barnes and Nobel does sell some of their cheesecakes. Bummer, huh? :)

Have a good weekend.

Couldn't wait to hear the report when I got home today. PTL, so excited. Don't let Dee get too tired of the rehab till he gets completely well
