Yesterday afternoon as I was still wheezing and sick, my very own personal friend, the DOCTOR came by to check on me. Do you think he reads my blog? No, my husband told him of my condition and he came running. He changed all my meds, put me on a breathing machine three times a day and said I was going to live! Wha hoo---, I am really on the mend now. Thanks sweet friend. You know how much we love you and your family. Thank God for Christian friends and those who love us in spite of our bad selves.
I am slowly trying to think of Thanksgiving. We are going to the beach from Tuesday until Sunday. I can hardly wait. We got a condo in Seacrest that overlooks the ocean and it will be all good because my precious grandchildren and children will be there. It is so great to be able to have uninterrupted time with family. We will laugh, eat, laugh, and eat and shop till we drop. Jeff is bringing his boat for the men's entertainment. Lucy and Jason are coming on Thursday because my Lucy is hosting Thanksgiving for Jason's family in their new home. She is making dressing!Something I will be buying from Kathy's kitchen. I asked her how she knew how and she said...Mother, it's so easy and spouted off how she went about doing it and well, all I can say is ,you go girl..You have got some confidence and I am all proud of that with a big whopping of giblet gravy on the side!
MY friend B had wonderful experience in Savannah with Gene Hall. This is coming from others who have talked with Ken. Pray that God has touched her and healed her in a precious and mighty way. I and so many others are in awe of her faith and her mighty walk with The Lord. I can hardly think of how I would cope, but she is amazing and God has does a mighty work through her and he continues to do that every day she walks with him at her side. B, I love you and I am standing in the gap, girl and clinging to his promise that he has given you. Loving all of you and wishing that we all took his hand and let him do a mighty work in us through his word and love as we continue to lift one another up in prayer and deeds. Robin
