Relocation

It's November 1,2007 and Dee promised me I could spill the news about our new adventure. How many middle age folks get to have an adventure at this time of life? Dee has planned to relocate his office to Mobile. As most of you know National Dairy Holdings bought Dairy Fresh in 2003. Dee took over in 2006 as head of five plants in his region. He has Dairy Fresh plants in Mobile, Dothan, Baton Rouge, Hattiesburg, and Greensboro. Dee has hired a man from California to take over as plant manager here in Dothan. He will coming aboard on November 15.Dee has been traveling a lot and it is time to make life a little easier for the milkman! This does not mean we are MOVING! We have an apartment in Daphne and will be spending more time there. Now, this is no surprise to my friends who know I am already there as much as possible since two of my daughters , husbands , and grandchildren are living there. It is also closer for Jeane Carroll to come home from college . She does not like being in Dothan without her sisters so she loves to be in Daphne as much as we do.

We have the luxury of keeping our home in Dothan for now and will take one day at a time. We don't know what it will be like as we are treading into unknown territory. I just know I am following the Milkman and headed to the promise land, wherever he leads I will follow. It will be easier for Dee to travel to all the plants he needs to oversee.

It has been a work in progress so please know we love all of you have made our life so special here in Dothan. We don't know what the future will hold, but we are praying about God's will for our life and where he wants us to be. We have no clear answer, so for now we will be going back and forth. It will not be much different than it is now because I am gone a lot anyway. I will be more accessible to my husband and feel the need to go where he needs me. Loving all of you and hoping the change will not affect our friendships and love for each of you. Please pray for God's direction for us and our family. Loving each of you every day..Robin

As long as you keep blogging... I'll be ok!! I'm happy for you to be closer to your girls! That's what matters right?! I'd give anything to be 12 hours closer to my parents! Life is too short to be apart from such special girls and grandbabies! I know you will enjoy every minute of it... and what a blessing that you don't have to pack everything up! Let me tell you, coming from an "expert mover", that's a HUGE blessing to not have to sell your house and pack up all you own!! I'm happy for you!!
