First Things
Dee and I have been accustomed to getting our church bulletin(First Things) in the mail for many years . It is a constant that comes every week on Thursday . Rain, Sleet, Snow or ice, the bulletin arrives. I thought I would be real savvy when they went to bulletin's by email and join the ranks of the people who use Internet to check on our church activities. I signed up to get it on line but I found out something. I could not do without it! I missed it! Dee started asking where is the bulletin? For years, it has a place on our refrigerator to remind of of whose birthday it is, what the preacher is preaching on and to know when the monthly Sunday lunch is and what they are serving. We need to know when we are greeters, who is having what at their house , and many more important goings on at First Baptist. Dee told me to just go call them and tell them we will pay for it to be mailed to us each week, that way we would not feel guilty about receiving it via snail mail.I did just that and called Kathy Fowler(church administrator ) and she just howled when I told her what I wanted. She said don't worry, I will send you the bulletin each week at no charge. Now, life is back to normal and Dee and I can SEE the bulletin and get a quick reference when it is needed. I guess we both aren't as 2000's as we think! We both do Internet but there are just some things you can't substitute and Our beloved bulletin is one of them. Thanks Kathy. we are getting just like old people!!!We need to see it in print to believe it! Loving all of you...Hope you bulletin comes each week as regular as ours does..Robin

Hey! I enjoyed reading about ya'll! I hope you get to come to Lake City in January. It is so close to heaven. This morning it was 11 degrees and never got over 32. I stayed home all day and had a fire. I enjoyed crocheting and watching movies. This will soon come to an end!!! I don't think I will have time for relaxing when I get home next week.
Love all of ya'll
HEY! I have to get it in the mail too! I can't read the bulleton on-line, I enjoy it in a chair with a snack! I look forward to it EVERY week! The two times a year it doesn't come- I got into withdrawls. See you soon-
