As you know I am doing this Beth Moore study and todays homework I need to share with you. I had the privedge of having a wonderful earthly father so its easy for me to understand Gods love for us. Some were not as blessed as I was to grow up and know my father adored me. My dad died on the same day my first child was born. It was tramatic but I will tell of that later.Beth talks about Gods tender heart and nuturing spirit. Do you know what it means to be quieted with his love?If you are a mom you know how to quiet your child, rocking, whispering all the time saying s-h-h-,mommy loves you. But do we know God as a parent? Do we allow him to nuture us? Do we take him our fears and fretting and allow him to hold us in his arms and cover us with his love?Beth says we need to learn to let God love us as his children. Would it not be great if we let him sooth our feelings when they are hurt, calm our fears? We can never grow in Christ maturity and wholeness until we do this. We can't know him as only the soverign judge. We must know him as the nuturing parent-or our growth will be stunted. The fathers heart is so tender. He takes great delight in caring for us. Next time we are hurting, instead of going to a friend , go to the father immediately! Tell him all about it,Pour out your heart just like you were talking to someone on earth. Ask him to quiet us with his love. Beth says we need to be bold and ask him to reaveal his love in a obvious way, If we ask him to minister to us he will. Try it with tenderness.I am convicted to try this when my trails come and I know they are coming. We all have them, it is just a matter of time as when they will be here. Loving you and hoping your day is special. Let God cover you from head to toe with his tenderness. Robin

This is so true! Thank you for reminding me. I am dealing with something now, that I have 1/2 way given to Him. I am going to, today, leave it at His feet. I pray that I will not go back and get it! Love you
